Hey all! So.....we have even a little busy lately! It happens more intensely, every year......adding Wall Art that family and friends can enjoy while gathering together for the Holidays. Below are a couple photos of a large curved wall with a darker base paint that really sets off the Sculpted Relief.
What a great time last weekend !! We had a Show with Oil Painter, Barrett Edwards, and Jill Creager along with all the other amazing artisans and vendors in the Home Essentials Design Center. Thanks also to MWA Design, Mark Adolph and Reese.
It was a blast !
This little guy was the true star !!
Thanks to Barrett, who saved it's life, it is free of being trapped in the Design Center, and is currently flying around the mountains!
Here in her hand she had been feeding it, after it had landed in her hair at the end of the day, begging for a ride out of the store. We are thrilled it lived !
This is the awesome Art Piece Joe sold Friday night at the Reception.
I had a lot of great comments on this piece as well.
Yes...it is ever changing...
Well...my intentions were good, but due to a little corrective surgery needed, I have to change the workshop to Spring 2014.

In the meantime...we finished the newest instructional "How to carve a FOX on the wall" video..available soon.
Jobs to do, videos to share, and life to live!
The very best to you all!!
Will keep in touch!
I will be teaching a Sculpted Relief Workshop at my Studio for 4 days...Oct. 29 - Nov 1 2013.

Boy. have we been busy!!!
Had the pleasure of flying to Nashville, TN where I carved horses and cows in 3 large stone niches, in a residential home. Loved the area, and the people were awesome!!
Since then, we worked on homes here in Colorado, adding Aspen trees in an entryway, and creating s few beautiful finishes on remodeled walls to boot.

Had a Fantastic group of students in my Bas Relief class in Sarasota Florida! Thanks to Donna Phelps: SARASOTA SCHOOL OF FAUX &
ARCHITECTURAL FINISHING Website: www.sarasotafauxfx.com
and her gorgeous studio where the class was held. We created a large Australian Pine Tree on an interior cement block wall with my sculpting sytem and it worked fantastic! We then painted it with Black Faux Effects Set Coat, that Donna sells, and she will finish it up with her magical foils and faux paint. Can't wait to see what she does! The students also created beautiful Bas Relief Art boards with a Crane and water scene, each done with the Sculpting System and their own unique styles coming through. What talent!! I was so excited to have such enthuiastic artists!
Now it's Back to work....
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERY
Whew!!!! Finished this large stairway project in Fort Collins, Co for a wonderful couple in a beautiful home! With help from Joe and Lisa, we were able to do it in 64 hours over 5 days. Thanks guys!!
Topped it off with a bit of Faux painting and a cute Raccoon! See more pics in our upcoming newsletter!
Have a great day!
We just finished this Stairway in a beautiful Home in Colorado! The Bas Relief Art is so great in these areas, with tall blank walls.
We are also busy adding raised art on cabinets and other walls... Fun time of year...everyone gearing up for the Holidays!
Have a GREAT weekend everyone! :)
